Unique Marketing Products Always Get People Talking

Last week I shared information about a new product that my team has rolled out called the Custom Magazine Tear Sheet Brochure (see sample below):

Since this product is so unique to our area, many of you were interested in learning more about what a tool like this could do for you.

And today I’m here to share some ideas…

Below are just a few examples and tips on how to leverage and use the Custom Magazine Tear Sheet Brochure to generate more sales for your business.

Tip #1: Include with a proposal, bid or estimate submission

If you’re in the business of submitting quotes, proposals, bids, etc., then you know firsthand how frustrating it can be to not hear back from a prospect.

The big question is – what is it about your proposal and presentation of that proposal that would give the prospect a reason to follow back up with you…or choose you?

We recommend including the custom magazine piece with your proposal, giving the prospect something interesting to glance at and read. Once they take a few moments to read about you, your business, and your passion for what you do, they’ll likely think of you more as a friend or someone they can trust simply because they’ve had the opportunity to learn more about you and your story.

And this will greatly differentiate you from anyone else they’re receiving quotes from.

Tip #2: The ultimate business card

When you’re at networking events, meetups, or anywhere where formalities include exchanging business cards or brochures, how are you going to stand out amongst the sea of other brochures and business cards?

Tip #3:  Free download on your website

We provide all of our custom magazine clients with a 3D image of the cover of their magazine along with an electronic version that can be added to your website.

We recommend promoting the online version of the piece as an “instant download” so anyone visiting your site can download it and learn more about you while browsing your site.

These are just a few ways you can leverage this unique product to encourage a conversation.

At the end of the day, building a stronger relationship with your prospects and customers is the goal and this tool allows you to strengthen that bond by sharing your story in a non-invasive manner.

As your prospect reads the custom magazine they begin to feel as though they know you on a more personal level and that helps build trust and credibility.
